👻 Trick-or-Treating amidst the pandemic : 2020年的萬聖節討糖之夜 🧛🏻‍♀️

The Halloween Night in 2020. 

We're all doing the best we can, and life still goes on. 
So, let's just grin and bear it. Embracing the pure joyful moment together. 

While the ongoing pandemic has called off many major events to discourage the crowds, people are still finding ways to celebrate Halloween in 2020. Perhaps, they just don't want to deprive this delightful traditional activity for their kids, in the meantime, they still willingly provide some entertainment for the public, to ease up the tension a little bit. 

Are you also curious like me and want to see how inventive people are regarding Halloween's celebration in a socially distant way? Any interest in zero contact candy-delivery methods? Let's stroll down to the Santa Fe Hills community in San Diego this time.

在確診人數持續攀升、不見煞車燈的美國，為了避免群眾聚集和減少不必要的實體接觸，很多大型的節日慶祝活動都取消了，連一年一度的萬聖節也不例外。對許多小孩子而言，整年最期待的就是十月底的這天，除了可以喬裝成他們心目中的人物角色，還可以到處去要糖果，跟著好友們一起搞怪搗蛋、滑稽愉快地度過這一天。而對部分成人(童心未泯如本人我)而言，雖然沒有辦法像小朋友們一樣，拿著小南瓜桶到各戶人家去收集糖果，但是徒步遊覽充滿萬聖節佈置的社區、欣賞著每位小朋友別具巧思又可愛逗趣的裝扮，也已變成經典的年度盛事。（畢竟，在美國，不是每個晚上都能如此有樂趣的，對吧！？難得夜生活可以如此精彩，怎麼能輕易放過呢～😛）

於是乎～這個萬聖節的週末，我們的行走觸角向南延伸到了San Diego. 一如往常的尋找著維他命D最佳吸收點，也抱著隨緣、碰運氣的心態，來挖掘San Diego的萬聖節夜晚有什麼新鮮事。果然，就真的被我誤打誤撞地找到 Santa Fe Hills 這個社區，有好玩的萬聖節佈置可以觀賞。雖然不是每戶都盛情參與，但在這特別的時刻，還有不少居民們願意花時間佈置、提供節慶娛樂給大眾，真的已經倍感溫馨、也令人格外珍惜了！

時局有感，在這混亂的2020，人們各自因為不同的自我考量而做出兩種截然不同的抉擇，「宅在家」vs 「外出」亦或者「Biden」vs 「Trump」... 身處在一種容易被貼標籤的社會氛圍裡，彷彿自己的一言一行是把尖利的刀刃，一舉一動便是清楚切割是非黑白的分水嶺，本是平凡的生活，開始有著許多不安，害怕自己選錯邊、擔心自己判斷有誤、焦慮自己不夠客觀，漸漸地也會因為不從眾而膽怯地不再勇敢表態，不想揚起對立也更無力挑起爭端 ...。不過藉由昨晚的特別體驗，欣慰的是，還是感受到了最樸實的人情溫暖，也深深地感受到了一股在疫情無情肆虐底下，卻仍然想要擁有的純粹童真和傳播歡樂的文化精神❣️

ps. I believe one of the awesome things about human beings

is that people can be flexible and adjustable. 

We always can figure out a way and

cope with the situation whatever we encounter. 

So, let's keep up our faith and get through this crisis together.
